This comes from my heart. Twelve’s episode 3 has officially managed to kill my interest in the show within less than 20 minutes. I wanted to keep going with the hope that it would get better. But for now, it’s time for a hiatus from the show. So, this Twelve Ep 3 review is probably the last post about the show for a while, until I pick it up again.
Twelve Ep 3 is Still Slow as Hell
After the last fight sequence in Twelve episode 2, I was hoping for things to speed up as the chaos officially began informing Angels of the existence of the dark powers. But they kept stretching the screentime with very few details to add to the story.
The episode opens with Ma-rok reaching the parking lot, where angels were attacked. He uses his staff to freeze these evil forces and helps the angels collect themselves. But suddenly, one of these evil beings ends up grabbing his neck. Now, here’s the weird part. His neck is being choked, and all other angels are just watching.
Nobody tried to help Ma-rok until other evil spirits got unfrozen, too. There were a couple of moments when dialogue felt repetitive, too.
The VFX looked pretty dull, too. So, if we put it in perspective, Twelve’s ep 3 also lacked good action sequences, impactful story progression, good dialogue, or anything strong enough to make me want to continue.
But again, that’s just my opinion.
Give the show a shot yourself. Maybe you will like it.
To conclude, I didn’t, and there’s not much I have to talk about it. So that’s where I’m leaving Twelve for now. Maybe I’ll pick it up again if it picks up steam, but until then, I’d rather explore shows that keep me hooked.
