The Sumika FANCLUB LIVE TOUR 2024 has been officially postponed, as beloved band member Takayuki Ogawa requires a period of rest due to health concerns. Announced on their official website, the news left fans saddened but supportive of the band’s decision to prioritize Ogawa’s recovery.
Why Was the Sumika FANCLUB LIVE TOUR 2024 Postponed?
On Friday, Sumika shared that 34-year-old Takayuki Ogawa is taking time off to address health challenges. This has led to the postponement of the highly anticipated FANCLUB LIVE TOUR “Enkai” 2024. The band expressed their regret, saying,
“To all our fans awaiting the performances, we deeply apologize for this sudden change. We truly appreciate your understanding.”
Updates on the Postponed Sumika TOUR
The revised tour schedule, now titled “Kenta Kataoka and the Bandman Tour (Provisional),” will honor tickets from the original Sumika FANCLUB LIVE TOUR 2024. Fans unable to attend the revised dates can request refunds. Refund claimants will also receive priority access if the original Enkai tour dates are rescheduled.
However, Sumika has cautioned that, if rescheduling fails, cancellations may occur. “In such cases, refunds will remain available, but priority access to other shows will not apply,” the band clarified.
