Red Dead Redemption pc Prices Revealed for the Base Game & Undead Expansion Bundle

It’s been over 14 years since Rockstar’s beloved Western saga Red Dead Redemption first galloped into our lives. Finally, PC gamers can join the adventure this October, and the wait was worth it. Preorders are now live, with the Red Dead Redemption Prices set at $50, including some extra surprises that will make this ride unforgettable.

Mark your calendars—Red Dead Redemption will officially release on PC on October 29. It’s available for preorder on Steam, the Epic Games Store, and Rockstar’s own store, with a consistent $50 price tag across the board.

The package not only features the full base game but also the iconic Undead Nightmare expansion, which challenges players to fend off hordes of zombies across the Wild West. To sweeten the deal, bonus content from the Game of the Year Edition is also included, ensuring players get the complete Red Dead experience.

Red Dead Redemption Plot for the Newcomers

Set in the year 1911, the story follows John Marston, an outlaw reluctantly working for the government in exchange for his family’s freedom. Marston’s quest is a brutal journey of vengeance. He tracks down his former gang members from the infamous Van der Linde gang. It’s a journey full of moral dilemmas, dramatic showdowns, and Rockstar’s trademark character depth that makes you feel every ounce of his struggle.

Upon its original release back in May 2010 for PS3 and Xbox 360, Red Dead Redemption received instant acclaim and became a fan favorite, setting a new standard for open-world storytelling. The success of Red Dead Redemption II in 2018, which also received a PC release in 2019, further strengthened the franchise’s legendary status.

The PC version is being developed by the studio Double Eleven in collaboration with Rockstar, and fans are eagerly hoping for a smooth launch, especially after the technical mishaps seen during the GTA Trilogy released in 2021. With Double Eleven on board, the expectation is for a solid and polished experience.

And PC players are in for a treat: the game comes with a plethora of platform-specific enhancements. Expect native 4K visuals at up to 144Hz refresh rate, compatibility with ultrawide and super ultrawide monitors, and HDR10 support. Rockstar has also integrated Nvidia DLSS 3.7, AMD FSR 3.0 upscaling, and Nvidia DLSS frame generation to enhance visuals and performance. Plus, players can tweak draw distances and shadow quality settings to customize their visual experience.
