[Exclusive] Nobuyuki Suzuki and Neru Nagahama: A Secret New Year’s Getaway 9,000 km from Japan

During the year-end and New Year’s holidays, two prominent celebrities were spotted at an unexpected location: an international airport, blending in with the crowds of travelers departing to celebrate overseas. The pair in question? Popular actor Nobuyuki Suzuki and Neru Nagahama, once a key figure in the idol world. Their destination was a popular vacation spot roughly 9,000 kilometers from Japan—far from prying eyes.

A Breakthrough Role as a “Terrible Boyfriend”

Suzuki is off to a busy start in 2025. He appears as a main cast member in the TBS drama Madoka, 26, Training to Be a Doctor! which premieres this January, and he stars in the newly released film Salaryman Kintaro: Dawn Edition, which opened on January 10.

In 2012, Nobuyuki Suzuki appeared in the Fuji TV drama GTO and the film The Kirishima Thing, among other buzzworthy projects. However, it took time for him to truly break out.

Suzuki’s big turning point came in 2017, when he portrayed an unapologetically unfaithful boyfriend in the TBS drama Anata no Koto wa Sore Hodo. His performance as a habitual cheater became a hot topic.

Neru Nagahama: The Multi-Talented Star

Meanwhile, according to an editor at a women’s magazine, Neru Nagahama has proven herself versatile in nearly every field—another reason this secret New Year’s trip with Nobuyuki Suzuki has piqued so much curiosity.
