Na In-woo’s Military Service status has been making headlines. The actor’s agency has now spoken up to address public speculation.

On December 17, Hanada Company, the agency representing Na In-woo (30), officially confirmed that the actor had received an exemption from military service.

Reason Behind Na In-Woo’s Military Service Exemption

The exemption stems from Na In-woo’s military health evaluation, where he was classified as a Grade 4 supplemental service candidate. This classification generally indicates health conditions or specific reasons that limit full active duty participation. However, under Korea’s Military Service Act, individuals who remain unassigned for three years following a Grade 4 classification are granted exemption from mandatory service.

According to reports, Na In-woo received the Grade 4 status during his physical examination. But he did not receive a summons within the required time frame. Consequently, he joined over 10,000 individuals exempted under similar circumstances since 2019.

Upcoming Projects of Na In-Woo

Despite the buzz surrounding his exemption, Na In-woo remains focused on his acting career. The actor is set to lead the upcoming MBC drama “Motel California”, which premieres on January 10, 2025.

Na In-woo has steadily built his reputation as one of Korea’s promising actors, with notable appearances in “2 Days & 1 Night” and various acclaimed dramas.
