Krypto in Superman Legacy, Confirmed by James Gunn in an Instagram Post

James Gunn’s recent post has brought new excitement for DC Universe fans. A recent post on Gunn’s Instagram shows Superman and Krypto admiring Earth’s outer space view. There have been multiple reports earlier confirming Krypto’s huge involvement in the upcoming Superman: Legacy movie. And after the huge success of new shows like Peacemaker, everybody is so damn excited to see what’s cookin’!

Krypto in Superman: A Real-life Superdog Inspired This Version

Gunn confirmed in his post that his on-screen version of Krypto is inspired by Ozu. He is a fluffy boy adopted by James. Ozu’s backstory includes no earlier familiarity with human beings and a family of over 60 dogs.

Gunn describes how Ozu came into their home like a whirlwind, destroying everything from shoes to furniture, even chomping down on Gunn’s laptop!

The chaos made Gunn wonder

With Krypto’s heartwarming story and Gunn’s unique touch, fans are eagerly waiting to see how this bond will shine on screen.

The timing perfectly stands for Krypto’s debut, coinciding with #AdoptAShelterDog Month. Gunn notes that while Ozu may have started as a “not-so-good-good-boy,” today, he’s pretty much a very good boy most of the time.

And by the way, apart from Krypto’s involvement, James has also confirmed Lex Luthor’s inspiration for Superman: Legacy, confirming that before the movie releases, he is leaving breadcrumbs to keep us excited. Well, I have to say- he surely knows how to hold our attention!
